IPAF is an initiative of the Australian Film and TV industry in close partnership with independent and studio based Film and Home Entertainment distributors; independent and major chain cinemas; DVD retail and rental outlets as well as industry contributors to promote the benefits of screen copyright.

Overview


IPAF is a film and television industry initiative that serves to promote and protect the value of the industry by raising awareness, understanding and appreciation of intellectual property and its role and value in society.

The Foundation’s education and awareness campaigns rely on messaging aimed to motivate a change in attitudes and behaviour to reduce public demand for illegal copies of film and television programs.

AFACT acts on behalf of the 50,000 Australians directly impacted by content theft including independent cinemas, video rental stores and film and television producers across the country.

EnhanceTV is brought to you by Screenrights, the not-for-profit organisation that licenses educational institutions to copy from TV. Nearly all schools, TAFEs and universities in Australia have a Screenrights licence.
